Richard Putt, Chairman

Richard Putt who has been supervising further work on the Battlefield Trail has joined the Board of Trustees and has been appointed Project Chairman. Richard who is a resident of Sibbertoft is a Project Management Engineer.

Martin Marix Evans, Vice Chairman

Martin's background is in book publishing, with appointments in marketing and editorial roles at board level in a number of companies over a period of 30 years. He is now a military historian with more than two dozen published works to his name. He has been involved with the Project since its inception. He lives in Blakesley, Northamptonshire.

Peter Burton

Peter has lived in Sibbertoft, alongside the battlefield, all his life and is a contractor. He has played a major part in the reformulation of the battle's history through his work as a metal detectorist. He shares credit for the instigation of the Project.

Michael Westaway

Michael, a local historian, was born close to the battlefield and, with Peter, provided the spark that gave rise to the Project. He farmed land in Naseby, where he lives, for all his working life and made an equal contribution to the metal detecting discoveries.

Anne Haddon

Descended from natives of Naseby in the 17th century, Anne is a landowner living in Sibbertoft. She was formerly an Assistant Librarian at the Bodleian Library, Oxford.

John Kliene

John, formerly a professional geologist, is chairman of an industrial business in Yorkshire. He is an enthusiastic amateur archaeologist and lives in Alderton, Northamptonshire.

Part Time

Howard Culley

Howard joined as Project Manager in February 2007. After serving in the army from 1964 to 1986, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, he became bursar at Bedford School. From March 2003 he was Director of Bedford School Foundation and he brings to the Project a high degree of professionalism in charity administration, fund-raising and associated skills.

Joan Beretta

Joan has qualifications in book-keeping and provides individuals and businesses with administrative services, working in a freelance capacity. She lives in Sibbertoft and is an energetic supporter of the project as well as holding the post of Secretary to the committee.
