Archaeological Advisor: Glenn Foard
Glenn has been working for the Battlefields Trust as Project Officer since June 2002, and is now on a part time basis. Previously he was County Archaeologist for Northamptonshire. He is a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, a Member of the Institute of Field Archaeologists, and a member of the English Heritage Battlefields Panel.
Glenn has written and lectured extensively on archaeological themes, especially on landscape and settlement, aerial archaeology and on the history and archaeology of the English Civil War. His books include:

Battlefield Interpretation Advisor: Chris Scott
Christopher L Scott has been walking battlefields for over thirty years, analysing ground and tactics throughout the UK and Europe, in America, Russia, India, South Africa and the East Indies. He was the Head of Education for the Royal Armouries in Leeds, and the Tower of London until 1996. In 2002 Chris co-founded the Guild of Battlefield Guides.
Chris has lectured for the British Councils Organisation, was part of a British delegation to the Zulu War Centennial Ceremony and represented Great Britain at an International Congress of Historical Sciences. He has also lectured for the British Commission for Military History, The Historical Association and The Battlefields Trust for whom he is a Trustee. His latest book, a new study of the Battle of Edgehill was published by Pen and Sword in 2004.

Adviser on Military Medicine: Eric Gruber von Arni
Dr Gruber von Arni is a historian specialising in the history of military hospitals and military nursing. He is the official historian of Queen Alexandras Royal Army Nursing Corps and a Trustee of the Army Medical Services Museum. His book 'Justice to the Maimed Soldier' deals with nursing and medical care during the period of the English Civil Wars.

Historical Adviser: Professor Malcolm Wanklyn
Malcolm Wankyn was for many years head of the History and War Studies division at the University of Wolverhampton. He is now Research Professor in the Conflict Studies Unit within the History and Governance Research Institute at the university. He has published extensively on early modern England and has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and lectured to the general public on the Civil War. He is, with Frank Jones, author of 'A Military History of the English Civil War' and his 'Decisive Battles of the English Civil War' (Pen & Sword) was published in 2006. His work on English generalship is in press.
