Events Diary
13th June 2010 – Annual Battlefields Trust Naseby battlefield walk
Meet at Mill Hill, Naseby by the sheep pens Sat.Nav. NN6 6BS
This is a guided walk to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Naseby and includes ground fought upon and not usually accessible to the public
The Sealed Knot will be firing from Sulby hedges and wreath laying on Dust Hill with Prince Rupert’s Bluecoats, all of which we hope the walkers will be able to participate in.
The walk will be approximately 3½ miles and around 2 - 2 ½ hours duration.
Good walking footwear would be advisable as the terrain is typical farmland.
A shorter alternative walk may be an option if required.
There is a charge of £10 per head to recompense the landowners.
If anyone would like provisions for lunch, please let us know.
