Battle of Naseby 1645
Sunday 12th June 2011
An opportunity to walk over parts of this famous battlefield which aren’t normally open to the public. Please note that there will be a charge of £15 for everyone who comes on the walk, (including Battlefields Trust members). Meet at 10 am, at Mill Hill - i.e. on the Naseby to Sibbertoft Road, north of the A14 overpass bridge, at the top of the first hill where the flag is flying and we have a small area of hard standing for car parking within the field. Postcode NN6 6BS.
The walk is over fields, lacking footpaths and with ditches and hedges and rabbit-holes to beware of. Ankle boots suggested, plus thorn-resistant trousers, waterproof jackets, etc.
